A Modern Romanticism
Asli Polat’s Spring/Summer collection brought together a youthful, feminine sensibility with the designer’s interest in sporty American fashion. The collection was described by On|Off as playful and feminine, using couture fabrics alongside sportswear influences. The clothes balanced softness with a more contemporary edge. Pastel tones, delicate florals and feminine silhouettes created a romantic mood, while cleaner shapes and sport-inspired pieces kept the collection feeling fresh rather than overly delicate. Contemporary coverage highlighted pastel green, florals and holographic PVC, with textured darker pieces adding contrast.
Colour and Texture
Colour played an important role, moving through soft greens, pale blues and romantic pastel shades before stronger, more reflective materials appeared. Floral patterns and shimmering surfaces brought depth to the collection, while the use of harder materials gave the femininity a little attitude.
The Art of Contrast
The collection also demonstrated Asli Polat’s attention to contrast and detail. Feminine fabrics and decorative finishes were set against more structured, contemporary shapes, creating a sense of movement between elegance and modern streetwear. Small details became important to the overall look, allowing each outfit to feel individual while remaining part of a cohesive collection. For CARRO Studio, these details provide a glimpse into the designer’s visual language and the careful styling that gives each look its character.

CARRO Studio Behind the Lens
CARRO Studio’s photographs capture the collection from a more intimate perspective, focusing on the details, silhouettes and atmosphere surrounding the presentation. The images preserve the preparation and movement behind the finished looks, from final styling adjustments to the models waiting backstage. There is a natural beauty in these moments. Away from the polished runway image, the photographs reveal the hands, fabrics, textures and concentration that bring the collection together. Asli Polat’s collection found a balance between romance and sport, softness and structure. The result was playful and feminine, but with enough contrast to give the clothes a distinctive contemporary character. Through CARRO Studio’s lens, that balance becomes part of the story, documenting not only the finished fashion, but the atmosphere and creative process behind it.
